Fundraising Events
Because the Ballard Nature Center is a non-profit organization that relies entirely on grants, gifts, and donations, the Ballard Nature Center board hosts fundraising events to generate needed funds for the operation and the maintenance of the facility.

Annual Banquet
Join Ballard Nature Center at its annual banquet held each fall at the Knights of Columbus building in Effingham. The night’s activities include dinner, a live auction, a silent auction, a raffle, and a wine tasting. Information, including sponsorship opportunities and ticket sales, will be available on this site closer to the date of the event.

Plant Sale:
Ballard Nature Center’s board will offer flowers, shrubs and trees for sale each spring. Order forms to purchase plants will be available weeks prior and will be placed on this site closer to the date of the event.
